Blue Eyes 03:20
BLUE EYES music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz Circles marking all the words And pictures in the night sky Hoping that I'd remember Thin lines tracing zodiac signs Where headlines fail to bring light Dreaming that I’ll recover But who am I? I’ll never know Even when the lights spell it out People might go blind With blue eyes That lure me to my destiny I’ll pretend that I don’t see Shattered, broken TV screens With flashes of your past lives Deleting what you could have archived Vague signs of horizon lines Where bus rides kill your dreams for life Feeling that I could have logged out But who am I? I’ll never know Even when the lights spell it out People might go blind With blue eyes That lure me to my destiny I’ll pretend that I don’t see But who am I? I’ll never know Even when the lights spell it out People might go blind But who am I? I'll fail to know Even when the sounds fade them out People just scroll down With blue eyes That lure me to my destiny I'll pretend that I don't see I'll pretend that I don't see

Sparrows Fly 04:23
SPARROWS FLY music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz Shadows bend like they used to do But not like you City lights mask that fairy tale You sent through the mail But one step closer And dead stars drift afar The warmth of love In icy winter fluff How can your words ring bright and true When distance bridges me to you? The hope of trusting horses, chariots Taxis, gone away How can my shadows light your way When street lamps glare the night away From neon lights to missing parts The heart grows fonder Tears apart The skies don't mind My eyes go blind Oooh Broken lights in our dreamy states Church bells resonate Gazing eyes that I wish I could Take care for good But now your hand No longer wants to mend The sunshine burns Leaving scars that yearn How can your words ring bright and true When distance bridges me to you? The hope of trusting horses, chariots Taxis, gone away How can my shadows light your way When street lamps glare the night away From neon lights to missing parts The heart grows fonder Tears apart The skies don’t mind My eyes go blind The loudest sigh Makes sparrows fly The skies don’t mind My eyes go blind Oooh

NIAGARA FALLS music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz Rustling leaves, gentle breeze Fleeting moments of pure bliss I can’t believe that it has come to this Your head leaning on my shoulder Rolling landscapes by the window Memories recorded in our phones Through your eyes, I realize That your love runs deep within Through the night, stars will collide Our hearts in rhythm The sky engraving our names Waterfalls in the moonlight Misty eyes and soft whispers The waters flow Your words fill my soul Through your eyes, I realize That your love runs deep within Through the night, stars will collide Our hearts in rhythm The sky engraving our names The earth and sky Greet us good night Sing a lullaby Through your eyes, I realize That your love runs deep within Through the night, stars will collide Our hearts in rhythm The sky engraving Each kiss you give me The sky engraving our names

Train Tracks 04:52
TRAIN TRACKS music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz Remember when you wished That I would just stay by your side? I would gladly do If not only for the way Our lives move far apart Remember that sunset Enjoying the moment as the time slips by? I would pull you closer If not for the fact That signs don’t intersect Magnets repel Timelines reject What if train tracks bring me back To the time our holding hands would last Like there’s no tomorrow? In that night when city lights Illuminate our fear of asking if There will be forever Can I wrap you with my arms for longer? Will you still be there tomorrow? Remember when you drove Took over my luggage as the hour had come? I boarded the train and knew You’ll never look back at me ‘cause you might regret But I don’t hold back Falling tears in the dark What if train tracks bring me back To the time our holding hands would last Like there’s no tomorrow? In that night when city lights Illuminate our fear of asking if There will be forever Can I wrap you with my arms for longer? Will you still be there tomorrow? Can I see your lonely eyes that long for You and I back there together?

Dark Skies 04:54
DARK SKIES music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz Can you hear me calling? Phone battery draining Silver linings failing Cigarette smoke, choking Bicycles wheels, turning, Barely doing anything People grinding, toiling While the birds lay crying Ohhh Hey there, how’s it going? Do you recall my name? Hey there, how’s it going? (Oooh) Do you recall my name? (Oooh) Leave your message at the door As I lie down on the floor Waiting for your call Out the windows, looking Painful heartaches, burning There’s no point in asking Everybody wondering Ohhh Hey there, how’s it going? (Oooh) Do you recall my name? (Oooh) See red eyes, gazing (Oooh) Dark skies painting guilt and shame (Oooh) Leave your message at the door As I lie down on the floor Waiting for your call See red eyes, gazing (Oooh) Dark skies painting guilt and shame (Oooh) Why do I fail to bring (Oooh) A more loving offering? (Oooh) Leave your message at the door As I lie down on the floor Leave your message at the door As I wait for your call Ohhh

The Smalls 04:53
THE SMALLS music and lyrics: Juro Kim Feliz How can I say goodbye When no one is there to hear the sound? When my soul begins rotting at the core A sigh, unheard How can mountains move without a roar When no one dares to look and see the sun? When my soul begins ripping at the seams A mark so deep A voice so weak A trail so steep

about

Fans of the computer video game Starcraft would know that you can type in cheat codes to get quick perks like unlimited resources or revealing the whole map. Singer-songwriter Grumpy Kitty Boy feels the opposite—cheating life with toxic positivity brings dry kibbles that he hates so much. For him, the school of hard knocks teaches that reality is gritty, gnarly, and especially grumpy. No excuses, no unwise deceptions, no illusions. Like toxic positivity, kibbles are food cheats meant for mass consumption and therefore should be avoided.

The ironically cute-sounding debut EP "Show Me The Kibbles" relates what Grumpy Kitty Boy values in life: stating the irony, embracing the grumpy, and avoiding the “kibbly.” This collection includes dreamy songs about losing one's memory, hopelessly resolving distances, filling one's soul with a deep love, yearning for nostalgia, calling out apathy, and liberating one's self from abandonment.

about

Grumpy Kitty Boy Toronto, Ontario

Grumpy Kitty Boy roams the streets of Toronto and Manila in his dreams. He likes singing badly and loves his kitty treats—irony and cynicism in glittery candy wrappings—but dislikes kibbles with a passion! Latching on to the pouting cat emoji, he expresses the worldview: "Be authentic! Embrace the grumpy!"

Grumpy Kitty Boy is the singer-songwriter project of Toronto-based composer Juro Kim Feliz.
